We arrived at the volcano on the afternoon of the first day of the National Day holiday. It wasn't crowded. No need to exchange tickets for self-drive vehicles; you can enter directly at the self-drive entrance. There are manual ticket checks and exchange. Each volcano has a parking lot, but the parking order is a bit chaotic. We drove a go-kart for 80 yuan per car (negotiable). It went around the volcano. There was a fireworks show at night, but it was too cold to watch.
My first visit to Ulahada Volcano was high, but upon entering the scenic area, I was somewhat disappointed. The volcano wasn't as majestic as I'd imagined. The most unpleasant experience was the traffic jams. During the National Day holiday, the area was packed with tourists, and the roads were one-way, resulting in frequent traffic jams. Self-driving tourists were constantly cutting in line, ignoring the one-way traffic rules. The management of the scenic area was also quite disorganized, truly no more than a AAA-rated scenic spot. To enhance its influence and service levels, much work needs to be done, such as improving scenic area management and implementing appropriate vehicle flow control measures. Furthermore, I personally feel that the sanitation management of the scenic area needs improvement, with a strong whiff of commercial development. I hope the scenic area management will address these issues and not wait until the tourists have stopped visiting before regretting it. By then, it's too late. Remember this!

It's a good attraction, worth visiting. You can go to the top floor of the National Gate Building and look out. In the distance is the Mongolian National Gate. You can also see the China-Europe Express coming from a distance, take pictures, and it is also a good souvenir.
Take the elevator to the top of the National Gate Building for a panoramic view of Mongolia. Use a telescope to spot Mongolian trains in the distance. During our visit, we saw a train passing through the National Gate and arriving in China. The Mongolian emblem was emblazoned on the front of the train. You can also take photos near the boundary marker. There's also a museum inside the National Gate Building that teaches about the history of Erenhot and the National Gate, and allows you to see what the National Gate looked like in the past.

The scenery here is truly stunning. The endless grasslands are matched by the blue sky, and the grasslands are full of sheep and cattle. Having a bonfire party at night, eating roasted whole lamb, and drinking kumis is such a treat, all the worries and unhappiness are gone with the wind! The food and accommodation here are also very affordable!
In July and August, the Jinlianchuan Grassland is awash in golden lotus blossoms, creating a stunning golden landscape. Besides the lotus flowers, there are also numerous yellow, white, red, and purple wildflowers in bloom. It's truly a sea of flowers!

The large-scale performance of "Mongolian Horse" is worth seeing, but other things like the museum being closed and the poor dining experience are not very good. In addition, the ticket booking process on Ctrip is quite cumbersome, but the ticketing service guy was very kind and I was able to get it done with his help.
"Mongolian Horses" is a stunning film. It shows the Mongolian horse's tenacious and courageous spirit, and also reflects the deep emotional bond between the Mongolian people and horses. This spirit is worth learning from and inspires us to face difficulties and move forward courageously in life.

The kids liked it very much. There is also a dinosaur park inside. We even wore space suits to take pictures, which was a different experience. Because we were in a hurry, we only climbed volcanoes No. 8, No. 6 and No. 3. The scenery was very good.
It was very shocking, and felt like an alien planet. The scenery was nice. We went there on April 29th. The locals said that private cars could enter at this time, but they could not enter after May 1st. As a result, we drove to the tourist center and were told that private cars were no longer allowed to enter on the 25th and that we could only take the scenic area bus, but it was free before May 1st. The most profound feeling during the browsing process was that there were staff on duty at each volcanic point to guide tourists to get on and off the bus and answer questions. The wind was particularly strong and the ultraviolet rays were particularly strong in those days. They were always on duty outside and their service attitude was excellent. There was a small accident. After visiting the No. 4 volcano, we waited for a car but there was no car for a long time. The staff quickly communicated with the scenic area to coordinate the car and let us go into the duty room to avoid the wind. After waiting for nearly an hour, the car came and said that the local herdsmen were making trouble and blocking the traffic. The government was working on it. It seems that the government should have solved these contradictions long ago and not let tourists suffer. Since the tourists could not be stranded at once, the scenic area could only allow private cars to enter, so we drove the car and drove from the 8th to the 3rd again. The feeling of driving by ourselves was even better!

The Dada Highway is a grassland highway in Keshiketeng Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, China. It stretches 135 kilometers from Darinor Lake to the Ashatu Stone Forest. It has been listed by National Geographic China as one of China's most beautiful self-driving routes. The Dada Highway begins at Darinor Lake (Inner Mongolia's second-largest inland lake, meaning "sea-like lake" in Mongolian), located in western Keshiketeng Banner. The end point is the Ashatu Stone Forest (a National 5A-level scenic spot), located in the foothills of the Greater Khingan Range and renowned for its granite rock formations.
The Dada Line is highly recommended for self-drive tours, perfect for families and groups. Another recommended self-drive destination near the Dada Line is the majestic Daqing Mountains, offering picturesque scenery.
