Visiting Alba de Tormes.
In the small town of Alba de Tormes, you have the basilica who on its own is a huge structure in neo-Gothic style, which apparently has not yet been finished! It was conceived by Enrique María Repullé...
This is unfinished and may never be but it’s worth visiting the outside and the square and lingering prayerfully over the statue of Teresa . Then moving on to the rest of the town
The convent church has an amazing museum of Spanish Catholicism and the sarcophagus of Teresa of Avila, with her heart and left arm in visible reliquaries. Very peaceful atmosphere.
