📍Lovina Beach During the pandemic, me and my s/o decided to live in Bali. Out of nowhere i remember a place that my parents and i used to go when i was a kid. yes, it’s Lovina! They took me to see some dolphins. This is a perfect place for you and your family if you wanna se dolphins up close. Other than dolphins, you also can snorkel here. It took us around 2.5 hrs to get here since we live around Canggu area. We departed at 3.45 am and arrived at 4am. I set off for Bali because of a beautiful and unreal island picture. In many bloggers' pictures, I always wonder 'this blue is so unreal' until I stand on the island of Bali and look down to really feel its beauty. 💕 . Many people's first impression of Bali is because of the otherworldly Bromo. 🪐 But I want to take you around another island world of Bali, immerse in the ocean where you can see the bottom at a glance, snorkel surrounded by fish 🐠🐡, ride a motorcycle along the coastline, and watch the most beautiful sunset afterglow. . (Below is my six-day five-night route sharing and experience sharing 🚗About Bali route arrangement/ Day1: The whole country flies to Bali, Bali only has one airport named Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS). After arriving in Bali, stay near the airport, there are many recommended hotels, all with private pools, and the price is not high 🏨 . Day2: The hotel near the airport goes to play on Penida Island. First, you can find boat ticket information in domestic travel software. You can make an appointment with the hotel in advance to arrange a car to the port. The port is named Sanur Harbour. The journey to Penida usually shows 40min but you need to set off 1.5h in advance to avoid traffic congestion (regular boat ticket 120r/round trip). When you arrive on the island, you can also charter a car to tour the whole Penida Island. The last boat from Penida is at 17:00 back to Seminyak 🏝️ . Day3: Depart from Seminyak to Ubud to experience the local water and soil culture. It takes 1.5h from Seminyak to Ubud by taxi, avoid the peak period of traffic. Ubud is the favorite place for digital nomads. The local customs are relatively strong. You can rent a car and tour Ubud for a whole day. Avoid the crowd and you can also go to the local waterfall to play 🍃 . Day4: Depart from Ubud to Lovina, the journey is about 3h. Lovina is a place with lower consumption in Bali. There are many local people who buy durians on the way from Ubud to Lovina. Here you can feel that you can buy a large durian for 30r, really achieve durian freedom! When you arrive in Lovina, you can let the hotel make a reservation or go to the beach by yourself. There are many local captains who introduce the dolphin chasing project. It is recommended to make a reservation for departure at sunrise 🌅 . Day5: Gather on the beach at 5:00 in the morning and set off to chase the sunrise! Because the weather at this moment is not very hot, and the dolphins are more active. After chasing the dolphins, you can also experience the snorkeling project, which only costs 25r/person. The captain will prepare equipment for you. After the whole journey is over, you can go back to the hotel to rest, and then you can start your journey back to Seminyak 🐬 . Day6: Get up in the morning and you can rent a motorcycle in Seminyak to go around. There are more entertainment projects in Seminyak. The motorcycle costs 50r a day. Sit on the beach and feel the last relaxing day. Start your journey home 🏍️

With good weather, you can even see dolphins leaping out of the sea against the golden-orange dawn. The journey from Ubud to Lovina takes about 2 hours, and you need to set out to sea before sunrise, so you have to leave the hotel at 3 a.m. If that seems too strenuous, you can choose to stay near the northern beaches the day before. Going out to sea requires chartering a local spider boat, which costs 600k Indonesian Rupiah (~￥300) for about 2 hours at sea, and can be booked locally. 🌱 Rainforest Trekking Twin Lake Trekking Recommended Index: 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Effort Index: 👍🏻👍🏻 The Bali Twin Lakes is a destination less visited by Chinese tourists. There is a well-preserved rainforest around the Twin Lakes, which is a formal natural scenic area. You can take a guided walk in the rainforest and row a boat on the lake to see temples. The paths in the rainforest are not strenuous, with no steep slopes, but it's easy to get lost without a guide. The guide will also introduce various local vegetation along the way, or pick some interesting fruits for you to see, making it a fascinating immersive experience, perfect for families with children or tourists like us who are looking for relaxing, enjoyable, and unique local activities. There are two routes, one around the Twin Lakes and one around a Single Lake. We chose the 2-3km route around the Single Lake, which includes strolling and boating, and takes about an hour and a half. The cost of the ticket and guide is 250k Indonesian Rupiah (~￥125) per person, with only English-speaking guides available. 🌳 Bayan Ancient Tree Recommended Index: 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Effort Index: 👍🏻 Many places in Bali are very spiritual and full of natural energy, and this huge ancient tree is especially so. The tree is 6 to 700 years old and is located in a small village not far from Ubud. It has recently become popular online, and when we visited, there was a continuous stream of visitors. The most amazing part is the tree's complex root system, which is taller than a person, and you can climb up and down it, with a different appearance from every angle. Up close, its branches and roots somewhat resemble the human body, and the bark even has a satin-like sheen. It's hard to imagine that such a vibrant tree has existed since the Ming Dynasty and still provides shelter and nourishment to birds, insects, and ants as a protector. When we visited, it was about to rain, and against the lead-gray sky, the ancient tree had a poetic rhythm and tranquility.

Bali's sunset glow is like the brilliance of another world spilling onto earth, so beautiful that it leaves one speechless. The radiant glow and the sea dyed in myriad colors make me feel that all the grandiloquent descriptions cannot capture a fraction of its beauty. People only talk about the sunrise trek at Bromo, but how many have truly appreciated its sunset? Honestly, the sunset at Bromo is the most surprising to me, even a bit of luck that is hard to come by. I hope to share this beauty and fortune with every destined person. .
