With only a little knowledge on the museum’s theme, I visited The Polar Museum to learn more on the intrepid journeys of Robert Falcon Scott and his expeditions. The vast array of collections not only pertaining to that subject but also that of the Antarctic regions generally and Inuit culture is fascinating. Admission is free which is brilliant too - there’s so much to read and assimilate. Would strongly recommend this to anyone with a degree of curiosity about Scott’s travels and the geographical poles.

The University of Berkeley has a variety of museums, this is a great one.
The museum, in the life sciences building at the University of California, Berkeley, is mainly a display of various insect specimens, in large numbers, and takes time to identify, if interested in insects should go see.
