Those who understand Tibet will definitely not miss the autumn in Nyingchi
Starting from late September every year
Nyingchi, known as the 'Jiangnan of Tibet', enters the golden season of rich autumn colors
Various shades of yellow, red, and purple gradually dye the hillsides, forests, rivers, lakes, and the snowy mountains... adding more delicate colors until around mid to late November
This visual feast slowly comes to an end after nearly 50 days of 'Golden Nyingchi' - once again, really don't miss it!
The autumn and winter of Nyingchi:

The best season to visit is autumn when the sky is high and the air is fresh, with clear clouds. From the lakeshore to the mountain ridges, the mountains and fields are all dyed with rich colors, and the tranquil environment...
√【Namcha Barwa Peak】Sunlit golden mountain
Namcha Barwa Peak is the most representative peak in the Nyingchi region and also the highest peak there.
The best viewing spots: Sejila Mountain Pass, Sosong Village in the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon
The best season for viewing: October to April of the following year is the best, with less rainfall, dry air, high visibility, and the most beautiful view of Namcha Barwa from a distance
√【Midui Glacier】Glacier, snow mountain, forest
Midui Glacier is one of the lowest altitude glaciers in the world and has been rated as one of the six most beautiful glaciers in China by 'China National Geography'.
It retains ancient ice and snow for millions of years, with crystal-clear ice cliffs and long dark blue ice tongues, more moving than one can imagine, recommended to visit in autumn and winter!
√【Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon】Viewing twin peaks, light hiking, landscape photography
The Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon is 504 kilometers long and 6009 meters deep at its deepest point, making it the deepest canyon in the world.
Inside the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon scenic area, besides taking a boat to view the canyon landscape, there are also a variety of viewing and photography angles, making it the best spot to view Namcha Barwa Peak. Early May and early October are the best times for hiking.

Starting in September, the surroundings of the Gang spruce forest in Bomi gradually welcome the autumn colors, with the most intense colors from early October to early November, especially along the Bomi section of National Highway 318. Looking at the glaciers from the road, under the reflection of the splendid autumn colors, they appear even more charming!
Tickets + shuttle bus are not expensive. Go to the parking spot to go to the observation deck. You can ride horses or walk. The horse riding is only 100 yuan without bargaining. It is very tired for the Tibetans who are horse and horse. This price is worth it. It is not recommended to walk very steep. Someone walks back for a few minutes to ride a horse 😂, but it’s okay, but I can’t touch the glacier. Generally speaking, it’s not a loss to come in.
We entered Tibet from Ya'an route in Sichuan. The first glacier we encountered was the rice pile glacier. We rode slowly near the glacier from the entrance, and we came to the platform near the glacier along the way. It felt shocking.
The lower part of the glacier is walking through the needle-broad leaf mixed forest belt. The mountains on both sides are steep, the magical work, the snow-capped mountains and the clouds are intertwined, like dreams, which makes people amazed. Climbing icebergs has certain requirements for physical strength, and you need to bring food, water and other supplies to keep warm.
The scenic spot is free, but you have to buy a shuttle bus ticket. Although the lake is prohibited, it is very intimate to put a stool for you to step on.
Visit the Midui Glacier, and take the scenic sightseeing bus to the hiking or horse riding point after purchasing the ticket. The sightseeing bus journey is not long, because self-driving cars cannot enter, it is a must. We choose to hike according to our physical condition and other tourists' suggestions. After all, the plateau must be done with your strength. If you walk, move slowly and rest more, you can replenish some energy food and water on the road. The most challenging thing is about 200 steps to the observation deck. There are many hairs blowing from trees on the road this season, you can wear a mask. The road back to the starting point is relatively labor-saving. On the observation deck, you can take a reflection of the glacier in the water, and you can take a picture of the majesty of the glacier on the way. If you want to be closer than Laigu glacier, you can't get closer, but it is less difficult to walk.
The glacier is beautiful.
Midui Glacier is located in the two villages of Mimei and Midui, Yupu Township, Bomi County, more than 90 meters away from Zamu Town, where the county seat is located. The mountains around the glacier are full of flowers, which is the most important marine glacier in Tibet and one of the three major marine glaciers in China, and the lowest altitude glacier in China.
