McMullen Museum of Art, Boston College

The museum opened to the public in 1993 at Devlin Hall, named in honor of the donors and art collectors of Boston College. The museum was originally located at Devlin Hall, and then moved to its current location in 2016. Most of the museum's collections are permanent exhibits, from paintings in Europe, Asia and the Americas to gothic and baroque tapestries. The museum is not very large, and many students are seen studying on the terrace when they come. The exhibition hall is mainly concentrated on the first floor. The transparent glass stairwell is very suitable for patting. Looking out from the floor-to-ceiling windows is the green lawn.

The museum, located in Boston College, will reopen on February 1st and requires advance appointments to visit. After opening, the museum will be displayed with abstract Arab paintings. The museum is a single-family building. The exhibition of the art museum is on each floor, and the exhibits are divided into permanent exhibitions and special exhibitions. When I came to visit, the special exhibition was Japanese culture and art, showing Japanese portraits, sculptures, etc. The transparent glass at the stairs and the large grass behind the museum are all suitable for patting.
