Yes there is a quote nice church, but the Plaza itself is not special at all. Nothing really to see or do

If this is the plaza opposite the cathedral, it could be nice but there are too many beggars, pigeons and dogs really to enjoy it. Cold in July as the trees block the sun.

Fun place to sit, eat, and people watch. We came here for about an hour while waiting for our bus to San Pedro. Sweet little fountain, lots of trees and plenty of benches... and friendly dogs of cours...
