Cannon Beach

A bit foggy and dreary when we went but if you’re already in the PNW when you read this...well...you’re fully aware. Despite the weather the beach is a beauty with huge cliffs sticking up out of the water. There are nearby restaurants within walking distance that have some delicious seafood and bar grub.

It is a nice drive through state parks from Portland to Cannon beach. It is well known for the haystack rock. 是世界上第三大的岩浆石。很多海鸟和动植物生长在这块巨石附近。风景很美。

After the sea recedes, the coast can see the reflection of the sunset, driving for an hour and a half can see the beautiful scene at any time, the long rainy season has passed, and the good time of Oregon is coming.

Seeing Portland's travels about Canon Beach and Metou's deliberate visit, I bypassed the quiet town and arrived at the parking lot of a resort hotel, which is one of the entrances to the beach. Because of the cold weather, there are not many tourists, but the parking lot is almost full. It is said that there is a mirror of the sky similar to Bolivia. The sky is not beautiful, the wind is strong and the waves are urgent, so we can only imagine it on the beach after the waves. The sugar-shaped reef of zongzi is an ornament. Although I still tremble in my down jacket, it's amazing that the beach children are playing with bare legs and arms.

The beach was beautiful! The sand was nice and easy to walk on. I actually found some agates on the beach and a full sand dollar.

When you go to the beach, it must be sunny, because you will find that it is like a mirror of the sky. The sunset here is world famous, and there are not many beaches, one and a half hours'drive from downtown Portland. You can also get in close contact with seagulls. There are also many restaurants in the annex. You can try the beer and coffee here. Absolutely recommended.
