Walking in the old quarters of Coimbra is quite motivating mainly for the many interesting façades. One which makes part of the history of the city is this tower with nice Manueline Portuguese style. ...
Rebuilt tower
Nice tower set into the town walls. Nice to enjoy the sights and when you go through the arch of the town walls, you see some really gorgeous houses nearby. Its just lovely to wander around the town...
Another Tower...Worth Seeing if on Way to the University
Part of old city walls. Happened to be closed when we went by on a Monday. No details as to what it would house. Not critical to see if time limited in Coimbra.

The tower is not very impressive. It is on the way to university, so will-will-will have to see it

We went up to the high city to see this tower, but it was rather disappointing; it was just a small tower in stone.
