I recently visited the center of Fort Colombo, and I was shocked by the changes. When I realized that traffic in the center was already in a one-way mode, I realized that Fort Colombo was no longer the noisy place where dirty glass buses ran around. The original city has been renovated. The ancient buildings have been repainted according to their respective hues and the structure is preserved in the best possible way. The traffic is unimpeded, and pedestrians can walk safely without fear of being hit by each other. It's really great here!
