    A popular shrine

    Original Text

There are buildings on the premises such as the shrine office, but there is no sign of people. I think there is something enshrined in the main shrine, but it is closed and cannot be seen. I think it is in good condition.

    Kintetsu Shinto Shrine

    Original Text

It is about a 7-minute walk from JR Hakata Station on the Urban Expressway near the east exit of Hakata Station. It is said that there are many shrines with the same name in Fukuoka. There is a wooden tiled shrine in the back of the old stone torii gate. The two gods of Haiyasuhiko and Haiyasuhime are the shrines of the deities. There was a realistic guardian dog in front of the shrine (it seems to be new). Tenman free Tenjin and Omonji-sama (Monju Bodhisattva) are enshrined as small shrines. There is also a stone statue of a cow. Is it related to Tenjin? Chikuzen Kuni ZOKU fudoki (1709 ...) of Masuken Kaibara
