    Very run down

    The grounds around the castle are in desperate need of attention. The grass is overgrown, the pathways are in a bad state, there are no gardens. Many other places to see around Hiroshima to see

    The area around the castle was once much larger than it is today. Instead of the current single most, there were three moats around the castle.

    The train street from Kamiyacho to Hachichobori is a stone monument that indicates that it was originally the outer moat of Hiroshima Castle. After the Meiji era, it was reclaimed and the road was expanded to become the main road connecting the current city center and Hiroshima Station. As the name suggests, Hachichobori is the place name that leaves a long moat that extends to Hachicho (Cho). It's all over the country, but this is the place in Hiroshima. 1 Town is 109 meters (measurement method, 1200 meters =11 town, originally 1 town =360 shaku / shaku is about 30㎝) ...
