I went here during Mochi matsuri so the town is lively at this time. The streets have this old japan vibes to it.

Just drove thru ... took one minute.

Perhaps because it was a weekday, the place seemed totally deserted. Nothing looked like it was really open. The old buildings lined the street looked nice, but as it was a ghost town, we didn't stop....

I stayed on the monitor at the end of March. The inn is a nice room that has been renovated from an old folk house, which is irresistible for old folk house lovers. It has a very calm atmosphere. The veranda side is right next to the river, and you can see the cherry blossoms on the riverside and the scenery is the best. Swans sometimes come in the morning.
