Olle Trail

Before I came to Jeju Island, I heard that there were occasional paths. I did a strategy and found that there would be one to two paths next to the major attractions called Oulai Road. So, I am ready to go casually, without going deliberately, and I really went to a viewing road in Independence Rock. There are two red and blue floating on the road. Belt, it says JEJU OLLE, there are still many places to see along the way, all hanging on the tree on the side of the road, find the occasional path, it means that it is not far from the attraction, or it is already in the scenic spot.

I spent 3 days attending the Jeju Olle Walk Festival in November 2018 and it was very meaningful. One route a day is not only a physical exercise and a challenge to myself, but also a great opportunity to meet friends or make new friends. No one forced you to walk faster, but we can take pictures and enjoy the beauty and scenery on each route. The local food for lunch was delicious. Very beautiful island for parties and vacations. I love Jeju Island. This is my third time attending the Jeju Olle walking festival. Every time there is a different experience. This path starts next to Sixiang Elementary School and there are good road signs along the way. There is no English information in the information center 1 km along the road, and the gentleman will not speak English, although we don't need any information just follow the path. The first 5-6 kilometers are beautiful. When you go up the mountain, from there you can see the coastal scenery on one side (including Seongsan Ilchulbong), the other side is the plain and Hallasan, you are surrounded by a large forest. However, once you go down the mountain, the 8-9 kilometers of trails will become very boring. Because it is located on the asphalt road near the main road. The last section is from Seongsan to Gwanchiji and it feels great again when you walk next to the beach/sea.

Oulai Road is a unique hiking route of Jeju Island. The island is densely surrounded by Oulai Road, numbered by numbers, and you can find the small figure of Oulai everywhere in Jeju Island, from No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, to more than 20 throughout the coastline of Jeju Island.
