Aishan

Aishan Scenic Area is about 20 kilometers away from the urban area. It is the only natural scenic group in Jiaozhou City that integrates mountains, water and plains. It is also a comprehensive scenic spot full of historical and cultural connotations. The scenic spot is located at the intersection of Yanghe Town, Zhangying Town, and Dongcheng Township in Jiaozhou City. It consists of four scenic spots: Aishan, Dongshi, Xishi, and Shanzhou Reservoir, with a total area of 8.6 square kilometers. Since Aishan Scenic Area is a Taoist mission, there are many temples and statues, and incense has flourished since ancient times. Aishan Scenic Spot is the focal point of the whole scenic area. It consists of two peaks, north and south. The south peak is the main peak, with an altitude of 229.2 meters, and the north peak is 224 meters above sea level. The east stone is 137 meters above sea level, and it is towering like a stone lion. The Jade Emperor Temple at the foot of the east stone has a high reputation among the local people; the west stone is about 140 meters above sea level. To the feeling of "I am the peak to the top of the mountain", there are Baizi Hall and other scenic spots. The East Stone and West Stone in the Aishan Scenic Area are known as one of the eight scenic spots in Jiaozhou - "Stone Ear Contests". According to legend, Erlang God was demoted and punished for committing guilt. Stumbled by a mountain stone, a stone was scattered in each of the two baskets, and it turned into two stones, which is the origin of "Shier's Struggle".
