Itagaki Taisuke Birthplace Monument

It is a place that can be reached on foot from Tosaden's Ohashi Electric Station. I wanted to build a large stone monument in front of a temple called Konodera. It is the birthplace of the leader of the Freedom and People's Rights Movement in the Meiji era. There is also the birthplace of Shojiro Goto nearby. It reminded me of the scenery I saw in Kagoshima that people of the era were appearing from the range of modern neighborhood associations.

A little south of the tram stop on Ohashi-dori, there is a temple called Koya-dera, which is in front of the gate. It is famous for being defeated by the Seihan Ron and then descending with Saigo, forming Rishisha and launching the Freedom and People's Rights Movement. I felt that I was respected by a magnificent monument.
