Glad I did, but probably won't do it again unless the actual trail gets some work done.
Not an easy trail. Quite a few areas that are truly dangerous, (9200 has a an area that barely counts as trail; maybe a 6 inch area to walk with a drop off. If/when it does get attention, the views ...
Beautiful & quick drive up
We drove it because we don't hike! It was beautiful! Little waterfalls in unexpected places. We saw turkeys and their little babies along with a lot of other wildlife. The scenery looks like a puz...
Not for the lazy...
It doesn't look like much from a distance but it is a fairly strenuous hike. But the views on a clear day are amazing! It is worth the effort!!

5.3 mile hike up Lazy mountain to 3000 ft. Elevation. Stunning views of the valley and Knik River. Too beautiful for words!
