Lianyungang Travel Guide in Jiangsu
🌈 Lianyungang is really a city that is "very un-Jiangsu-like"
Jiangsu doesn't have many islands, but here, there are groups of islands 🏝️
And there's the largest island in Jiangsu
I always thought Jiangsu had no beautiful seas
Until I went to Lianyungang, I found the sea here so blue

Old Street of Lianyungang: A large area of European-style buildings, very photogenic 📸 A cluster of European-style buildings, witnessing the growth of Lianyungang, with old buildings and snack streets, 🍜 there are also many interesting museums here
Lian Island: A Qingdao-like feeling, Xilian Island Village is a place to watch the sunset🌇 fishing boats, in the morning you can go to Yangwo Head to watch the sunrise lighthouse💫 During the day, you can go to Dashawan to play in the sand and water, and you can also take photos of the road leading to the seaside. Surrounded by the blue sea, you can rent an electric bike 🛵 and ride along the coastal road
Yangwo Head: At the easternmost point of Lian Island, the best place to watch the sunrise over the sea🌅, hiding the longest sea dam in China, inside Lian Island, vehicles can enter for free before 8:30 am, and after 18:00
Baojia Mountain: At the foot of Yuntai Mountain by the Sea ⛰️, full of fairy vibes, the stone steps of Tangwang Lake are very photogenic
🛎Tips
If you want to see the sea: It is recommended to stay in Lianyun District (seaside homestay or Jiaruibao Square)
If you want to visit the night market: It is recommended to stay close to the city center: stay in Haizhou District (near Yanhe Lane or Suning Plaza)
For seafood, try not to eat on the island, you can choose Xugou Seafood Street
If you have enough time, be sure to visit Huaguoshan and Yubay
The scenery of Liandao is still very beautiful. It is recommended that you go early or late. Because you have the fun of catching the sea before or after the tide, otherwise you can only simply see the scenery. It is recommended that you take a sightseeing bus to Suma Bay after entering the park, where there are fewer people and more beautiful scenery. After the tour of Suma Bay, you must take a bus to the Peacock Garden. There is also a reef beach here, you must arrive before the tide, you can dig a small crab near the reef and the like. Then follow the plank road of Peacock Garden to return to Dama Bay, it will be more fun to take the sky suspension bridge halfway, and the whole plank road is relatively gentle, very close to Dama Bay.
There are very many tourists on May 1st. There is a tourist through train line 2 from the train station. It is free during May 1st. It takes about 1.5 hours to take a long queue to take a sightseeing bus to Dashawan after arriving at the visitor center. Then take the seaside plank road to Suma Bay. The seaside plank road is said to be 2.5km. But it feels absolutely more than up and down, so it is very tired. After Suma Bay comes out, I continue to queue for a sightseeing bus to return to Dasha Bay, and then go to the opposite yacht club to take a sailboat. It is very comfortable. ~ Finally, I went to the Liandao Seafood Food Court to shoot the sunset. It was very beautiful. ~
The place is very beautiful, the standard East Coast seaside scenery, Liandao as the best seaside in Lianyungang, it is worth seeing. The entire scenic area is very complete, the scenery is also very good, there are not many people when we go
The stay was excellent and I highly recommend that I am very satisfied with the overall stay experience of this hotel. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was very comfortable, so I could get a full rest every night. In terms of facilities, the hotel's gym, swimming pool, etc. are very clean and tidy, and it is very convenient to use. In terms of service, the staff are warm and attentive, and provide me with very good service. The location is also very convenient, there are many attractions and restaurants nearby, it is very convenient for both sightseeing and dining. Overall, this hotel is very cost-effective and definitely worth staying. I highly recommend this hotel to my friends.
The first time I came to Lianyungang, I brought children to play, and I didn't go to Huaguo Mountain. It was very tired to climb the mountain. Just come to Liandao to play, Liandao scenery is very good and convenient, do the tour 3 line directly to the entrance of the attraction Dashawan, it is recommended to see Dashawan, buy 20 yuan per person ticket to the traffic tour bus to Suma Bay, more fun, better scenery. PS, the sea water at the end of April is still relatively cold, don't let children catch cold.

The most worthwhile attraction in Lianyungang feels like this place. Along the plank road, you can see the scenery of the sea, smell the smell of the sea, watch the seagulls fly on the sea, pick up shells and conchs on the beach, and the day is so beautiful.
