Cathedral of Lucca

The Cathedral of St. Martin of Lucca is a Roman Catholic cathedral dedicated to the Church of St. Martin of Tours of Lucca, Italy. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Lucca. Bishop Anselm began construction in 1063. In the original structure, the towering cylindrical arcades and the exquisite back hall of the bell tower are preserved. The cathedral's nave and half-door were rebuilt in the 14th century in Gothic style, while the western line was started in 1204 by Komo's Guido Bigarelli, with a wide porch consisting of three magnificent arches above three open spaces decorated with sculptures.

The cathedral is famous for the beauty of the front, but when you enter the cathedral the ceiling and the beautiful stained glass are very beautiful. It is different from the gorgeous, it is just quiet and beautiful. The day we saw stained glass was very good weather, so the light from outside made the stained glass look very glossy.

Through the gates into Lucca, the beautiful marble inlays on the front of the church in San Martino are stunning, and occasionally three or two tourists or locals pass by on bicycles, the winter sun shines warmly on their bodies, and even feels a little quieter than pizza. In fact, St. Martin's Cathedral is the largest church in Lucca, but St. Michel's Church is more famous than it, and you need to buy tickets to enter. There are many churches in the town, which are very quiet and beautiful.
