You can see the burning autumn leaves while driving along the Mikuni Highway connecting Gunma Prefecture and Niigata Prefecture. The balance of autumn leaves and greenery is exquisite, and you can enjoy the colors of nature while driving.
When I was searching the Internet to spend a vacation in the Mizukami region, I was attracted to the photos of alpine plants in full bloom and visited. There is a small parking space on your right just after crossing the Mikuni Tunnel on the national highway from the Tsukiyano Interchange to Naeba. Please note that it is a level that you pass by when you are vague. It is a good course for a day trip climbing about 90 minutes from there to the top of the mountain. On the way, the Nikko Kisuge colony and the stairs with a good view leading to the top of the mountain are really ...
I visited for the first time in decades. I used to only ski time, but the autumn leaves were also wonderful. The road has also been improved, and I was surprised that it was such a beautiful road.
Climb as it is from the Mikuni Pass, the prefectural border between Gunma Prefecture and Niigata Prefecture. There are parking lots on both sides of the Mikuni Tunnel, about 40 minutes from the parking lot to the Mikuni Pass, and about an hour and a half from the Mikuni Pass to the summit. The mountain trails are well maintained and are ideal for beginners' trellis. Nikko Kisuge is in full bloom at the time of year, and it is spectacular. If you want to walk for a long time, you can also go to Ogenta (Gunma) or Mt. Hirakita.
