I stood side by side with the "Reconstruction Memorial Project" monument in front of Yamatobu Oiwa. There was only a black letter on the distorted stone, saying "Irabu Ohashi Opening Monument", but when I turned to the back, the process was indicated as "a step of requesting the construction of the Irabu Bridge".
If you cross the Irabu Ohashi Bridge from Miyakojima, it is a T-junction, but it is on the left hand side after going to the right and going for a while. As the name suggests, it is a stone monument commemorating the opening, but I felt that it would be better to have a place where you can see the bridge on the sea side, not on the mountain side.
It is located at Yamatobu Oiwa, which you can see as soon as you cross the Irabu Ohashi Bridge and turn right. The Irabu Ohashi bridge seen from the opposite coast of this monument is also beautiful
Because the road is narrow, parking on the street is annoying at the bottom, so it is prohibited

It was always on the way to Sagarahama Fishing Port, and it was a place I was interested in. It is a tourist spot that seems to have been made to commemorate the opening of the Irabu Ohashi Bridge, but I walked because there was no space to park the car. It's a little spectacular spot, but it's dangerous for children because the road is narrow and there are no sidewalks, and if you don't make a parking space or a sidewalk, you can see that the tourist spots will decline. I'm sorry.

It's just across the island of Irabu.

why are you here?
I rented a car and went sightseeing on a chilly and windy day. I left without any preliminary research, so this is also a coincidence.
