Samantha Daleylive demonstrations are offered on weekends that are a must see! the castle itself is nice and original. one of the highlights is nagoya employs people to play the roles of previous shogun/samurai etc that are from ieyasu’s time. if you speak Japanese, they will only speak to you in traditional speech which adds to the experience. it is almost like stepping back into time and experiencing Japans history. they still offer a decent amount of english translated history etc.they also have a nice tea house with a cat who may visit you

The 3,000 courtyards are large, and all kinds of trees and red maples are quite spectacular.
