On the left side of Kamibashi, it is a magnificent building like a white castle that you can see when you look up from the Nikko Kaido. If you go up a little slope, there was a parking lot at the front entrance, but you couldn't go inside. It's a short walk from the back of this building.

An inn on a small mountain along National Highway 119? There is a building that reminds me. This is the former Nikko City Hall Nikko General Branch. The old government building was built as a "Daimyo Hotel" for foreigners in 1919 years. After being used as a social gathering place for the advance army, it was donated to the former Nikko Town and became an administrative building in 1977. It is a wooden 4 floor with a mixture of Japanese and Western styles, and features a castle-like appearance. It is also a nationally registered tangible cultural property and a modern industrial heritage. 5 The preservation and utilization of the old government building was decided a year ago, but ... in the large earthquake resistance construction cost and sediment-related disaster warning area.
