The community center is pretty close to the base of the pier and is ground zero for rentals of 4-person bike vehicles (and lots of little food booths). This visit, we saw they were offering some really great classes in dancing, etc. at the center.It's hard not to notice the community center, given its prominent placement and gleaming white facade.
