Even during these cold periods, there were many hikers that parked their cars and walked. We found that the lack of washrooms and water fountains were not ideal for hikers.
Breathtaking view and beautiful animals
Breathtaking view, fresh air, fantastic walk and not so difficult. Beautiful animals and protected. Not so much visitors in this period, quite and calm
May 7 was a little too early for hiking
We did a short hike but there was too much snow for our low cut walking shoes. Very pretty area. We were able to hike around the outskirts lower elevations of San Martino di Castrozza which was nice..

A great place to see the Alps at the peak level . 1989 meters high, around snow and snowy mountain tops! In winter it is also ski tracks ... The landscape is not real beautiful.
