Nishan Sacred Land is located in Qufu, Jining, Shandong. It is not in the center of Qufu city and is a bit off. We navigated directly to the parking lot. After buying tickets at the ticket office, there will be a bus to the scenic area (I saw cars parked on the side of the road at the entrance of the scenic area, I guess you can also buy tickets directly at the scenic area, you can ask the scenic area for details) After entering the scenic area, there are also tour buses. We didn't walk far, we just walked over and didn't take the bus... I think the scenic area can be divided into two parts, one part is the indoor university hall, and the other part is the outdoor Golden Sound and Jade Vibrating Square Confucius statue. The indoor tour is divided into three floors, each floor is very spacious, and there are various performances, you can refer to the performance schedule. The performance of the Golden Sound and Jade Vibrating Nishan Sacred Land is charged separately, the performance time is one hour, three times a day, you can watch the time. The entire tour time is about half a day, the ticket is 110/person on site, and the Golden Sound and Jade Vibrating performance is 140/person.

The Academy Hall is situated on the east side of the central axis of the Nishan sacred area, built against the mountain, with a majestic presence. The Academy Hall, also known as the Confucian Palace, together with the statue of Confucius, dominates the scenic high ground of the Nishan sacred area and has become a new coordinate for promoting excellent traditional culture in the new era. The exterior of the Academy Hall is grand and imposing, and the architecture is magnificent. However, the essence lies within, containing a vast universe. The Academy Hall not only encapsulates thousands of years of Chinese architectural culture and ancient construction craftsmanship, such as trusses, brackets, flying eaves, and painted beams, but also gathers classic arts and traditional crafts like wood carving, embroidery, clay sculpture, woodblock printing, lacquer art, and gold and silver inlay, showcasing the continuous and ever-renewing culture and wisdom of Chinese civilization. I wanted to see the combination of stage settings, large machinery, holographic images, and the fusion of poetry, music, and dance. I must say, the 'Golden Sound & Jade Vibration' performance is indeed impressive! And it allows you to see the playwright's or director's contemplation on traditional Chinese studies. There are many modern ingenious ideas incorporated within. I think it's a significant advancement. Apart from the 'Golden Sound & Jade Vibration' which has an extra charge, Nishan Sacred Land, like other immersive scenic areas, offers many free performances. Children can climb the steps with the actors, ascending step by step in homage to Confucius. The sense of ceremony is very strong. The drone show at night is also quite spectacular! During holidays, the place is overcrowded, so it's recommended to travel off-peak.
