Attending Landmark Cinemas (University Heights) was a treat because it satiated my completionist appetite. Having finally visited this cinema to see a film, I can now say that I’ve been to all of the ...
projector so bad, we could not see the faces of actors on screen
We went to see Downton Abbey on Oct 14 and the screen was so dark, we could not see the faces. It was like it was filmed in a cellar. the staff did not do anything about it. Major problem.
Okay....but somewhat disappointing.
I think we've been spoiled by The Cinecenta at UVic, where we can see great alternative films for $5 with reasonably comfortable seats and get $5 popcorn. (No listing for Cinecenta on TripAdvisor) ...
Treat for the kid
$19 for seats and $9 for a combo "deal" including a tiny amount of popcorn, small drink and a chocolate bar. I couldn't believe the minuscule amount of popcorn as he handed it to my kid but it was too...
