The Bank Bridge

The Bank Bridge is a 19th-century pedestrian chain bridge that spans the Gribojedorf Canal on the south side of the Kazan Church. At both ends of the bridge are two statues of the lion, the lion has the body and claws of the lion, and the head and wings of the eagle. The lion raised its golden wings and two chains of hanging strings were outstretched in its mouth. It is said that there was a large Commonwealth Bank when the bridge was built, and the Griffin statue was given the symbolic meaning of protecting the bank's property.

Knowing the bridge, I went to find it, just south of Kazan Cathedral.
