Finally went over to see this on Rochester Road. Very limited parking and NO birds. It appears that they have abandoned the area and moved on.
Blue Heron nests can been seen up in the trees
I noticed the great blue heron rookery for the first time this year. There were about eight nests in the huge tree in the middle of the wetlands. So the nests are noticable when driving on Ryan. Just ...
Nice nature walk area
I have walked in this area twice now. once in the evening with a scout troop and once in the day with my family. There are many trails that wind all around the rookery.
