Karolinska Institute

The Karolin College is a Swedish independent medical university founded in 1810 in the city of Solna, on the outskirts of Stockholm, known for its international leading scientific research and the awarding of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, with more than 9,000 students. Caroline College is responsible for awarding the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. There are two campuses: Campus Huddinge and Campus Solna.
