Well worth the five mile round trip from Southend, you could say Tides is a destination cafe! We had the chai lattes and two toasties and munched away watching everyone - and their dogs- taking a stroll. The food was lovely and service excellent! See you again soon!
Southend-on-sea is the farthest small town in southern England. The seaside here is very beautiful, the sea is very clear, and it looks blue against the blue sky. The seaside is built with one of the world's longest plank roads stretching into the sea, three kilometres long, and can be reached by small train or by walking to the big platform at sea.
