Caofeidian Wetland Park

Caofeidian Wetland Scenic Area Caofeidian Wetland Culture Tourism Resort is located in the west of Caofeidian District. It is a national AAAA-level scenic spot. It has been awarded the Chinese delicious crab king gold origin, the most beautiful 30 scenery in Hebei Province, the best leisure and vacation destination in China, and the ten best tourist scenic spots in Hebei Province. The honorary title of the most beautiful natural ecological tourist scenic spot in Greater China is called by the international wetland organization as a "wetland reserve with great potential and rare development". The total planned area of Caofeidian Wetland Cultural Tourism Resort is 120 square kilometers, the internal driving mileage reaches 110 kilometers, and the total green area is 3.62 million square meters; the surface area reaches nearly 20,000 mu, and the water storage capacity reaches 25 million cubic meters.

      Caofei Lake has a beautiful and moving legend, rumored in 645 AD, Tang Wang Li Shimin led the army expedition to Gaoli, the coastal road passed here, due to the humid climate, water and soil dissatisfied, with the army soldiers skin epidemic disease, urgently needed treatment. Fisherwoman Cao Yu led the soldiers to heal after bathing in the local hot spring. Li Shimin saw that he was smart, intelligent, gentle and understanding, and he was named a concubinet. This water is thus named Caofei Lake. The three islands in the center of the lake are natural bird nests and a paradise for many birds to live and reproduce. The 10 kilometers around the lake are 5 meters wide asphalt pavement. Tourists can enjoy the wide water surface by car, enjoy the relaxation and pleasure of the view and walk around the fitness. The pebble trails, 1500 meters long plank road, 3 hydrophilic platforms, lotus ponds and yacht marinas on both sides of the north and south will bring a fresh view of the scenery one step at a time. Caofeidian Wetland Park includes 6 islands in Caofei Lake and surrounding beaches, about 4,000 mu of Caofei Hunan side, 3,000 mu of wetland maze west of Shuanglong River and other wetland areas, mainly building tourism and resort facilities, high-end business hotels and supporting facilities, etc. Wetland conservation development is also carried out.

Warm reminder: The original Wetland Maze (Wetland Park) scenic spot has been demolished and tourists have been stopped. The current Caofeidian Wetland Scenic Area is: South to Xincheng Avenue (including the visitor center and parking lot), West to Club Road, North to Huzhong Road, East to Tangcao Expressway.
