Malta history and a loud bang!
Luken the battery guard gave us a fantastic history tour. Very well worth paying the additional 3€ to go on the lower battery alongside the cannon to watch them fire at noon. Highly recommend!

Having visited the midday salute numerous times in the past this is the first time we paid the entrance fee and it was worth every penny. Only cost 8 euros for two adults and two children and meant we...
