Visit several times a year on public days. You can enter the inside of the lighthouse that you can't usually enter, and you can climb to the top of the lighthouse to see the spectacular view.

It is a western style lighthouse built at the key point of ship traffic.

It took about 20 minutes by ferry from Kata to land at Nonaura Pier on Tomogashima and walk. The distance is about 1.5㎞. The lighthouse was built on Tomogashima Island in the early Meiji period (the location was moved after that for the construction of the battery) because it was only a transportation hub at the south exit of Osaka Bay. It is said to be the 8th Western-style lighthouse in Japan. If you go, I think it's a good time to open it twice a year (May and November).
