Niaodao Xiongguan

The birdway Xiongguan is located at the junction of the two counties of Lushan and Midu. It is a hilly basin with a wide altitude difference, lush forests and charming scenery. From Lushan County, follow the road to the east about 20 kilometers. Birdway Xiongguan is an important gateway of the ancient "Southwest Silk Road" of the ancient people and horses. Until now, it still retains the stone monument "Birdway Xiongguan" engraved in the Ming Dynasty Wanli years. It is 1 ． 7 meters wide, 0 ． 7 meters high, 0 ． 1 meter thick, and 4 Wei Ti characters are strong and strong. Bird experts believe this is the only earliest and oldest recorded record of the "bird trail" found in the world so far.

It is about 20 kilometers away from the ancient city of Lushan, of which 16 kilometers are the bumpy dirt road of Huangsha Feiwu. It takes 40 minutes to drive. The car (without off-road vehicles) can also be driven smoothly. It is about 3 kilometers away from the registration gate (free, only register personal data). After parking, walk up the mountain for about 30 minutes along the path covered with pine needles and deep-saw horse hoof marks, and you can reach the "Birdway Xiongguan" stone monument. Maybe the season is just right (we came on May 19), blue sky and white clouds, the trails are pine seeds and the fragrance of trees from time to time, and occasionally a group of goats are on the slope, not the season for migratory birds, so there is no chance to see a large number of birds, but the forest is indeed the fragrance of birds and flowers, suitable for hiking.

Every year from mid-September to mid-October, the "birdway Xiongguan" thick fog, thousands of migratory birds lost their way here, they collided with each other, making various croaks, forming the "bird hanging mountain birdway Xiongguan" spectacle.

Located at the Longqing Pass of Lushan Mountain, every autumn, the thick fog in the Guan is surrounded by thousands of migratory birds passing here, which is very spectacular.
