Fantastic stop if travelling through Baltinglass. Ruins are impressive and there is a very informative description board at the entrance giving you some insight and history of the Abbey.
Visited here along with a number of other classic car drivers. Well worth a visit to recover our history in the area. Well kept and clean with a nearby Church of Ireland church still in use.

Baltinglass Abbey is one among the many ruins in Ireland, not spectacular, but worth a short visit if in the area; one can always learn something new.
