Glendalough Monastic Settlement

Peace and tranquility permeate this ancient monastic site. It's a very special place for those who are able to sense the aura here and transport themselves back to when it was a thriving settlement. The round tower is one of the most outstanding examples remaining in Ireland. Easily within reach from Dublin for a day trip. Good walking shoes required.

This is where the stone is held. It is said that you can achieve your wish by holding the cross.
