The attractions here are free, and yesterday just happened to meet the Mexican Independence Day. The area is very lively. And close to downtown, the distance to grend central market is not far. It is worth coming over and walking.

There are not many really fun places in Hawthorne, California, this Beach Boys Monument can be counted as one of them. It is still very good to come here to blow the sea breeze and see the sea view.

Montebello Genocide Memorial (Montebello Genocide Memorial), the Armenian Genocide Martyrs' Monument, is located in Montebello, Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, built to commemorate the victims of the 1915 Armenian Genocide. The monument, designed by Agbabin, opened in April 1968. White concrete columns, consisting of eight arches, 75 feet (23 meters) high. It is the oldest and largest monument in the United States to commemorate the victims of the Armenian genocide. The Armenian Martyrs' Monument: This monument, built by Armenian Americans, commemorates 1.5 million Armenian victims of the genocide committed by the Turkish government between 1915 and 1921, and all people who have suffered crimes against humanity People of ethnic origin. Armenian genocide (Armenian Genocide; Armenian: Հայոց Ցեղասպանութիւն; Turkish: Ermeni Soykrm), refers to the ethnic massacres committed by the Turkish government by the Ottomans between 1915 and 1917 by Armenians under its jurisdiction. The Turkish government has so far refused to acknowledge that this was an official and premeditated massacre, arguing that deaths in the process of “relocation” and “deportation” should not be considered “genocide.” Armenia, Russia, Argentina, Belgium, Canada, France, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Sweden and more than 20 countries officially believe that this can be compared with the Holocaust. The deliberate act of genocide by a government, which some Turkish scholars share, and the European Parliament has acknowledged the Armenian massacre, calling it a “crime against humanity”. The UN Subcommittee on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities also characterized the incident as “genocide.” (The above information text, according to the tablet, Wikipedia, Baidu encyclopedia, etc., written by the author) drive from Garfield Avenue, from north to south, cross the bridge on Highway 60, meet Via San Clement, turn right; Follow this path, enter the gate with a car railing, continue, you can see the green hillside in front of the left, and the parking lot on the north and west side of the slope; and the golf club on the right front. The parking lot is close to the full stop; Only the car can be parked in the distance, only the owner of this car, toward the hillside. The arches of eight pillars stand alone on the slope as the visitors. There are no other strangers at this time. The flowers offered by the predecessors are almost withered. Dead flowers, ashes, and candles. Under the sun, on the base, there is no sound, no anger. Only outside the base of the monument, the green grass surrounded by all sides, and the branches that fell in the monsoon, tell the tenacity of life. People, whether they want it or not, will eventually go down.

Todemmy
Most of the local population is engaged in fishing. About 250 fishing boats are owned and/or operated by the residents, and most locals, rather than those working on the boat, work in many of the fish canning plants that gather on the island of Dock, which, due to its somewhat isolated nature, have developed their own culture and even their own dialect. People call their intimate village "Furusato", literally "old village". The English equivalent is "home", "aboriginal" or "warm home". In 1942, the residents of Terminal Island were the first Japanese-Americans on the West Coast to be forcibly removed from their homes. They were forced to evacuate their homes within 48 hours and had to abandon almost all their property, including all fishing boats and fishing gear. Some were able to sell their furniture, fishing gear, boats and other items. Since residents only have 48 hours to complete their deals, they are often exploited by greedy people to sell at outrageous low prices in desperate situations. “You can read the rest of the story online. Glad I saw this memorial. It’s a small memorial, but I believe it means a lot to many people.
