Tanghu Park

Tanghu Park is located in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (Zhukou), close to Checheng Avenue, and is the first municipal park in the development zone. The total area of the park is 555 mu, of which the water surface area is 240 mu. The whole garden is mainly composed of a series of landscapes with Chu cultural characteristics and the solemn and elegant classical buildings of Chu and Han styles, with a wide variety of Jingchu native trees as the keynote, integrating garden landscape and tourism viewing. At present, many fine gardens have been built in the park, such as Chu Garden, High Mountain and Flowing Water, Hibiscus Garden, and Long Corridor. Hibiscus is a garden flower in Tanghu Park, and there are more than 4,000 Hibiscus trees scattered in the garden. Furong Garden is located on the southeast side of Tanghu Park, with an area of about 13,000 square meters, of which the water area is 4,000 square meters and the green area is 9,000 square meters, with beautiful scenery. The garden takes the Chu culture and the "Hibiscus" culture as the connotation, and according to the landscape design and needs, the white hibiscus, the red hibiscus, the yellow hibiscus, the mandarin duck hibiscus, the drunk hibiscus, and the seven-star hibiscus are planted. The pavilion, waterside pavilion, flower stand, hydrophilic platform, small scene, etc., construct an ecological natural landscape freehand garden, which is a good place for Wuhan citizens to relax and entertain.
