Chuanyan Nineteen Peaks

Xinchang Nineteen Peaks is located in the southwest of Xinchang County, between Chengtan Creek and Hanfei Creek. It consists of three sub-scenic areas: Nineteen Peaks, Qianzhang Valley, and Chongyang Palace. The natural scenery here is outstanding with its Danxia landform. The Qianzhang Valley is also the filming location for martial arts dramas such as CCTV's "The Swordsman" and "The Legend of the Condor Heroes". Martial arts lovers should not miss it.

The three sub-scenic areas are adjacent and connected by roads. There are two entrances. The main entrance is in Yazhuang Village near Jiufeng. It can be easily reached by driving from the Xinpan Line of the County Road. There are also urban and rural buses passing by. After getting off, you can cross the bridge and walk 300 meters to the scenic parking lot. The other entrance is on the side of the main entrance of Qianzhang Yougu Scenic Area, which is convenient for self-driving, but there is no shuttle bus. Most tourists go up the mountain from Yazhuang Village.

The most worth seeing is the Nineteenth Peak. Although you need to climb the mountain, the mountain is not high. It is not a problem for most people to walk more slowly. To go to Qianzhang Valley alone, you can take a bus to the bridgehead of Chongyang Palace and walk for about 20 minutes (you will pass through a 600-meter tunnel during the process), or you can visit Chongyang Palace together. Qianzhang Valley is at the foot of the mountain. It is basically a flat road and can be visited in about two hours, which is relatively easy. Many tourists will directly buy a combined ticket and spend a day going from the Nineteenth Peak to the Qianzhang Valley and finally visit the Chongyang Palace, or vice versa, without looking back.

There are nineteen abrupt peaks with gorgeous shapes and colors distributed in the Nineteen Peaks, such as incense burners, cable boats, saddles, etc. Walking through these narrow peaks, although not as good as the view of the mountains at the bottom, it still has its own unique experience of soaring in the clouds and riding the mist. Wonderland feeling.

It takes about 40 minutes to walk from the bottom of the mountain to Jiangjunyan (Bride Peak). From there, you can go to the right to reach the highest Wanghai Peak (about 400 meters above sea level). Wanghai Peak has a nearly 70-degree linear sky ladder, although the steps are less than 100 steps. , there are armrests to assist, but it also makes people breathless. To the left of Jiangjun Rock, you can go to Ma'an Peak. From the small pavilion on the top of the peak, you can look at the confluence of the two rivers at the bottom of the mountain. The fields of different colors in the distance are like colorful flat paintings. The cliffs at the foot are steep and the mountains on the left and right are rugged. It is the most beautiful place on the Nineteenth Peak. Classic landscape. The rock cave on the mountainside of Ma'anfeng is a naturally formed hall with a height of one person. In front of the cave, there is a pavilion built halfway up the mountain, where you can also enjoy the scenery.

Continuing from Ma'an Peak, there are Lanchuan Peak and Xianglu Peak. You can view them from a distance, or you can follow the path to the top of Lanchuan Peak and return. On the way back, you can go down the mountain the same way, or you can choose the branch road leading to Qianzhang Valley, walk across the small wooden bridge, and enter Qianzhang Valley Scenic Area. The Qianzhang Valley can be visited in about an hour or two. There are bamboo forests, streams, and many cliffs and strange rocks. Because it is the filming location for martial arts blockbusters, there are also artificial landscapes such as the Condor Cottage and Wolong Villa in the scenic area. You can enjoy the scenery while recalling the plots of the martial arts dramas, and you will have an immersive feeling. The Chongyang Palace on the north side of Qianzhang Valley is a film and television shooting base and Taoist temple. You may encounter a film crew filming here when you visit. This place is about two or three kilometers away from Yazhuang Village.

It takes half a day or a full day to visit Chuanyan Nineteen Peaks. If you need to stay here, there are a large number of farmhouses in Yazhuang Village, with a standard room priced at about 60-100 yuan. Qingyouju in Qiaotou is one of them.
