The Guangzhou Bay Chamber of Commerce is a chic French clock tower-style building, sitting southwest to northeast, 18 meters wide, 18 meters deep, area of 324 square meters. During the eleventh year of the Republic of China (1922), Mr. Chen Jiaxuan was in charge of the Chamber of Commerce during the work, and launched various businesses to donate funds to build a new building of the Chamber of Commerce. The preparation of the new building was presided over by Mr. Chen Sijing, a Chaozhou merchant. The groundbreaking was started in 1923 and completed in 1925. It was one of the most luxurious modern buildings in Chikan. In June 1991, it was announced as a cultural relics protection unit in Zhanjiang City. The building has high value for studying the history of Zhanjiang economy and architecture. At present, some exhibitions are often held at the venue, such as the secret Kobayashi comics exhibition at this stage, which is free for the public.
