The stirrup, an extremely important component of the horse harness used for riding, was also invented by my country for the first time. In this regard, my country has made great contributions to human civilization. The Linzi China Ancient Chariot Museum was built on the basis of the chariot and horses sacrificed in the Spring and Autumn Period of Houli, one of the top ten archaeological discoveries in the country in 1990. It is divided into two parts: the Ancient Chariot Exhibition Hall and the Underground Spring and Autumn Sacrifice Chariot and Horse Exhibition Hall. The Ancient Chariot Museum was completed on September 9, 1994. Its content concentrates on the research results of ancient Chinese chariots and gathers the essence of chariots from all dynasties in China. The Linzi China Ancient Chariot Museum is located on the Houli Cultural Site. It is a rich and systematic Chinese ancient chariot museum that integrates archaeological excavation sites with cultural relics. It includes two parts: the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses sacrificed in the Spring and Autumn Period and the exhibition hall of ancient Chinese chariots: the chariots and horses sacrificed in the Spring and Autumn Period of Li Chunqiu are large in scale, complete in accessories, and exquisite in horse decorations, which are the best in the country today and are listed as one of the top ten archaeological discoveries in the country. The museum content integrates the research results of ancient Chinese chariots, fully demonstrating the long history of Chinese chariots and the important position of chariot-making technology in the history of world vehicle development.
