The German Cape is a piece of land located at the confluence of the Moselle and Rhine rivers in Koblenz, Germany. There is a magnificent bronze equestrian sculpture of the first emperor of the German Empire, William I.
On the top of the mountain opposite the berth is the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Around 1000 AD, a small castle building appeared here. In the following centuries, the electors of Trier converted it into a fortress. Later, it was destroyed by the French, and the Kingdom of Prussia also sent people to repair the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. This fortress is one of the most powerful fortresses built in Europe after 1815, and it is still well preserved.
