Titanic Belfast

This attraction is really immersive and fun whilst being informative. Diving into the history of how the titanic right from the beginning the experience really gives you a clear idea on how people lived and worked back then. This tour is perfect for any age group and is a great way to spend a few outs of your day.

Carrickfergus Castle

A characteristic Norman-style castle, whether it's a train going north or a one-day tour to Giant Road, passes through this coastline building. The size of the castle is not small, and it is better preserved than the castle near Giant's Road. The prominent part of the sea makes it a great seascape.

Parliament Buildings

After traveling to the UK and touring England and Scotland, we took an inland flight to Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland. Local friends took us to visit the Belfast Parliament House. This parliament house is usually used by the city's MPs for meetings, and the office is in another district. I saw the building from a distance, which is also a famous tourist spot in the local area. If you drive, you cannot drive directly into the parking lot next to the building without applying in advance. Only if you apply in advance can you drive in. You must know that the long road in front of the building is really a lot of effort to walk in. There are police guarding the outermost circle. You need to stop the car and tell the police why you are going in. After they approve it, you can drive in. Don't force it in, it's illegal. After the car passes through the long road, turn right and you can see the parking lot. There are places where you can park at will, and there are no special designated places. When you enter from the main gate, you also need to register your identity and get a visitor pass to hang around your neck. Then you can visit the public areas. There are people coming to explain the time. You can ask for the specific time after you arrive. If you come early, you can walk around by yourself. The security guard will tell you where the public areas are. There are also toilets inside, but the meeting place of the House of Representatives is basically not open to the public. We are local friends who know people. Only by establishing relationships can we have a deep understanding of the environment and the purpose of each room. It is very large inside, even with a banquet hall, and some political activities are usually held here.

Belfast City Hall

We were led by a big-bellied man, who took the middle staircase to the second floor. He asked us to introduce ourselves at the circular handrail in the middle. We were from all over the country, and most of us were foreigners. Then he led us to the parliament hall, which is where the parliamentarians usually hold meetings. There was a microphone at each seat. He then began to talk about the origin and function of this building, and spoke with great vigor. Everyone could sit anywhere, even the speaker's seat. After the introduction, he led us to visit other halls. The huge banquet hall was covered with thick and beautiful red carpet. I can't remember which hall was covered with blue carpet.

Belfast Castle

The castle is situated in between a mountain and sea. Gardens in the surrounding are also stunning. Moreover, if you like trekking, this is an ideal location.

Albert Memorial Clock

Day and night, the building has always been an obvious landmark in the road along the port into the main city, and you can see the small square down the bridge that changes in color at night. The height of the entire clock tower is OK, but alone is like a small piece of the street, watching the people waiting at the bus terminal next to it. Even the clock tower has designed tunnels to increase the beauty of the building.

Crumlin Road Gaol Visitor Attraction and Conference Centre

Crumlin Road Prison offers a guided tour, which is ideal as you can learn and listen to some interesting stories about the prison. There is a long history and it shows that people, including children, were punished for even very minor crimes in Victorian times.

St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast

avatar

Belfast church was built around St Anne's Church's original church and then demolished, with a window still in the cathedral and many very beautiful mosaics around the building. Guided tours are available from 11am to 2pm every day except Sunday.

Peace Wall Belfast

The Peace Bridge is a beautiful landscape in Belfast. It represents a very sad history and also represents the hope of the people of Northern Ireland. The walls are covered with various graffiti works, most of which are paintings expressing peace in Northern Ireland. Some of the graffiti works are very moving and worth appreciating.
