Good fun for all ages. If you don’t have a car you can catch a bus to Mirabilandia from Bologna during the summer months. If you have a couple of days in the area the mosaics in the nearby city of Ravenna are breathtaking!

Dante's Tomb

Walking around, suddenly found a place that seemed to be concentrated of tourists. Turning into the alley, this small mound was actually Dante's graveyard. Dante is a Florentine, and I have been to his former residence in Florence, and he was later evicted by the locals and died in Ravenna. Florence is deeply ashamed of the great poet, who is said to have been supplied forever by Florence with the oil of the long beacon of Dante's tomb.
