The most efficient itinerary is to start early—aim to arrive close to opening time at 8:00 AM for cooler temps and to enjoy the arena before tour crowds swarm in. Snap your first shots at the amphitheater’s grand façade and climb to the highest tier for panoramic, “insta-worthy” views of the stage and surrounding countryside. Don’t miss walking the semi-circular seating: the sunlight at mid-morning lights up the stone rows beautifully! Must-do: Test the acoustic magic by speaking softly or clapping hands from the stage—your voice will travel all the way up! Explore backstage arches and ruins for unique photo angles (watch your step—some stones are uneven). Quick tips: Bring sun protection—there’s little shade and mornings are best.
