If you're traveling to Yueyang and, like me, appreciate a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, and want a clean and comfortable stay, I highly recommend the Huanzhi Hotel on Yueyang Tower Pedestrian Street! Its location is perfectly central, just a 10-15 minute walk from Yueyang Tower. The lively pedestrian street, with its various restaurants, night markets, bars, and KTVs, is right downstairs. Even if you want to explore the area in the evening, you can still relax peacefully back at the hotel. Beyond just city sightseeing, the hotel itself offers many thoughtful touches: smart home devices, complimentary late-night porridge, and alcohol-based bathroom disinfection—the details are just right, making it the top choice for budget-conscious travelers, families, and business travelers alike! Highlights of the Accommodation Experience The Huanzhi Hotel (Yueyang Tower Pedestrian Street Branch) boasts a super convenient location at No. 94, North Auxiliary Road of the commercial pedestrian street. It's within walking distance of Yueyang's most iconic attraction, Yueyang Tower. You can visit in the morning, stroll along the pedestrian street in the afternoon, and enjoy karaoke with friends, a relaxing evening at an izakaya, or a shopping spree at a nearby large supermarket—the whole experience is seamless. 🚶 Environment & Transportation ▶️ The hotel has a bus stop right outside, with multiple routes directly connecting to popular scenic spots. Even if you're driving, there's a free parking lot in the backyard, making short stops easy. A tranquil oasis in the bustling city, with well-insulated rooms (especially non-street-facing rooms) ensuring a good night's sleep. The vibrant nightlife won't disturb your rest. The core commercial area has complete amenities, with night markets, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, and KTVs within walking distance. Multiple bus lines also provide great convenience. ✨ Thoughtful Details & Service ▶️ The receptionist is very attentive, proactively communicating and arranging things, and promptly resolving any special needs. The bathroom has alcohol disinfectant (rarely seen in hotels), and also provides conditioner and disposable toiletries, leaving your hair smooth and frizz-free after a shower! Smart door locks and sound-dampening strips on the door frames ensure that entering and exiting the room at night won't disturb your family. Complimentary bedtime porridge is delivered to the room daily, along with popcorn, tea, and other small items, readily available in the lobby – a truly delightful convenience. The buffet breakfast is plentiful, featuring local Hunan-style rice noodles, noodles, and porridge. (Families with children receive a complimentary children's breakfast voucher.) 🏠 Facilities & Entertainment ▶️ Modern room layout, spacious, with separate wet and dry areas. Some rooms even have a starry sky theme, making stargazing with the kids a special experience. Equipped with a projector, you can enjoy a home theater experience in your room at night. The hotel has a 24-hour gym and laundry room, so you don't have to worry about clothes or exercise for business trips or extended stays. Kid-friendly, with free extra beds and entertainment facilities (such as popcorn and movie screenings) perfect for families. 🛎️ Travel Tips ▶️ We recommend choosing a room that doesn't face the street for a quieter night. If you have a lot of luggage and are driving, contact the front desk in advance to arrange parking, as it may be limited during peak season. The breakfast restaurant gets very crowded in the morning, so we suggest going downstairs before 8:00 AM to avoid the queue. The nearby noodle shop is my personal recommendation! Grab a bowl after a tiring stroll through the pedestrian street—authentic and satisfying. KTVs and bars are bustling on weekends, so early reservations are recommended. 📍Huanzhi Hotel (Yueyanglou Pedestrian Street Branch) Address: No. 94, North Auxiliary Road, Commercial Pedestrian Street Approximately 10-15 minutes walk from Yueyanglou. Night markets, bars, restaurants, and supermarkets are all within 500 meters. If you want to experience Yueyanglou and the city's nightlife without sacrificing accommodation comfort, Huanzhi Hotel is definitely worth considering. The hotel features thoughtful design details, meticulous hygiene and disinfection, is child-friendly, and convenient for business travelers. The surrounding area offers a one-stop shop for dining, entertainment, and shopping, making it an excellent choice for beginners looking for a long-term stay.
