I needed a place to stay for two nights while flying at the world famous glider school here in town. One of the instructors recommended Land Hotel Gabriele. I was not disappointed. Neat. Clean. Friendly people. Comfortable bed (single room). My only complaint is they have gone to online registration/checkin instead of a real reception desk. Some of the emails went to spam. The helpful person in the restaurant got things straightened out. I would happily stay here again, even if I were in the Bavarian Alps as a typical tourist instead of being a grubby glider pilot at the end of the day. As I write this, I'm heading to bed on my last night, so hope nothing changes to change my opinion! I've eaten dinner twice and breakfast once so far. I'll write a separate review of the restaurant.
