Stockholm can be an expensive city and this can be an expensive property. We paid a little more than i would have liked but I thought it was fair for Stockholm. Staff were great. The property is nice and we received an upgrade (diamond). There is a lounge and breakfast (we missed both). The rooms are a little small but typical in Europe. The wifi was good. The A/C was a little ify. It was late September so it wasn't a big deal but we had to open the window to help cool off the room. If you take the airport train and change at Central there is a subway station about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The property is not super close to things (except construction - it's very close to that) but it's not too far and you can walk to most tourist things. Overall, it was a good spot. as a reference point, a taxi to the airport was 50€

The location of this place is exceptional. It is located on the top of Stockholm Central Station, so tram, trains and Airport (Arlanda) Express are all right there. The hotel is modern and located centrally with great restaurants and other attractions. Yes, it is not in Gamla Stan, but we walked there easily, about 25 minutes. This place has all the shopping areas nearby as well. The rooms are way too small. It was just impossible for the 3 of us (Adults) and I wish there were bigger rooms. The breakfast is also good, (again, it grades only a 3.8 or 3.9 out 5 because, have stayed in other Scandinavian hotels where the breakfast was just too good [in the range of 4.5 to 4.8]). The hotel also loans bicycles to their guests and it is first come first served, which is very good. Hotel service staff are okay. I would stay here for the location and convenience, and around this area, this is one of the best. If willing to compromise on the location, then there may be other hotels that are better. Not sure.

Generator is one of the chain hostels around Europe and it's my first time staying in their Stockholm branch. It's one of the more spacious hostel and the perks of having an ensuit for 6 people means that you don't have to leave the room at night for shower and toilet.
I rarely used any of the other amenities but there are plenty facility and events they provide which looked fun. What I would highly recommend is their breakfast, great value if u pre book for a proper meal to start your day in Stockholm.

Great, lively bar and restaurant! Great location. Rooms were good. Check-in and check out was fairly quick.
Quite a few small issues though that they could easily improve upon.
Curtain doesn't close all the way so there is some light in the room from the buildings next door that keep their lights on at night. Internet and phones weren't working the night I arrived. They could have told me that upon arrival.. There was some urban construction at 4am for some strange reason. I was told I had made two bookings but I only paid for one. Not sure what happened with the second one that they said I made. Wish they would have followed up with me so I didn't have to worry about it.. They say there is a swimming pool on trip.com but then I found out you can't actually swim in it. They should be more transparent about the size and purpose.
I'd still consider it again though.

Best hotel by far during our trip in Northern Europe. The doorman (from East Europe) who helped us from arrival, to taxi service is super friendly and helpful. He even told us not to take any taxis pulling over at the hotel as they most definitely will over charge us. The location of the hotel is the best and easy to get access to the old town just on foot. Housekeeping team is very professional too and kept our room clean and tidy. We feel bad that we forgot leaving some tips to the room attendant who cleaned our room during the stay which we were planning to do it. We have already recommended this hotel to our family in Canada.

Excellent location: 2-3 minutes walking distance to the central railway station, the city center and many shops, department stores, restaurants, bars, theatres… long inchecking time (a long check-in que), the breakfast buffe can be improved… A nice hotel which we recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights from the 3rd-6th June 2022’ Room- When we arrived into our room, it had a very comfortable double bed, sofa bed, good sized TV, good sized bathroom and plenty of charging points to charge my electrical items. I also liked all the Nordic toiletries and the design of the room. Facilities- Whilst at the hotel, we had breakfast in the main hotel restaurant.- Lykke. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of continental items (meats, cheeses), a few hot items and a good selection of breads and pastries. As this hotel offers free breakfast with their room rate, I felt the breakfast offering was very good at this hotel. On our first night, we had a few drinks in the hotel bar and it had a good selection of local beers and Gins. Location- This hotel gets a 10/10 for location- It’s near all the major sites, attractions, shopping etc. The hotel is next door to the Stockholm Central station where you can catch the Arlanda Express to the Airport. It takes around 18 minutes and trains depart every 20 minutes. The Gamla Stan (the old town) is around a 20 minute walk from the hotel and there’s plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. If you love ABBA, you should go to the Abba Museum. The Museum is located on the Djurgarden island and it’s around a 35 minute walk from the hotel. Alternatively as Stockholm is surrounded by water, you can easily pop on one of the ferries to the other islands. The ferries are frequent and are reasonably priced. I would also recommend going to the Vasa Museum. It’s about a five minute walk from the Abba Museum and it’s very interesting learning about the history of the boat- It was epic. Lastly I would recommend doing a Archipelago boat trip around Stockholm. The tour takes around 2-3 hours and costs around 345 SEK per person. Dining- Stockholm is also blessed to have a great number of restaurants in the city. If you are interested in looking for a yummy informal Nordic meal, I would recommend going to Bistro Bestick. The restaurant is around a five minute walk from the hotel and the food is fabulous- You should try the******** Loin and the Truffle Crème Burlee. If you are looking for a contemporary modern restaurant, I would recommend going to Rolfs Kok. It’s around a 12 minute walk to this restaurant from the hotel. Whilst the food is pricey, it’s definitely worth having at least one dinner here. The food is wonderful and you should try the Beef Entrecôte and the Ox Cheek- It was so good! Overall, I loved my stay at the hotel & Stockholm and if I ever came back to this city, I would consider staying here.

Had an amazing time, as always, at AtSix. This time though I really saw some amazing service from the one and only Alexandra Ruzic (Guest Relation Manager) who solved a situation that looked very dark for a while - she did an beyond amazing job. Also Amanda in the reception was fantastic and more then needed for me. I also want to mention Laura in the breakfast serving that was the best waitress I ever met. Amazing crew - amazing hotel!

It was nice to stay for 5 nights and have a pleasant trip while resting well in a comfortable bed. It was close to T-Centrale, 4 metro stops away, and transportation to the airport was good.
There was a variety of breakfast menus, and the staff continued to manage well, so I didn't feel crowded. I stayed for 5 nights very satisfied, thank you.

GGuest UserUnfortunately for this place they had a big party going all through the night and people kept running between floors and open and slamming doors between midnight at 4am. As it turns out you don’t need a key to ride the lift or to open doors! which we found out at 3 in the morning when someone came in to our room by simply pulling on the door open. Upon arrival I was waiting with my kids I. Reception for a good 5 minutes for someone turned up and give us a key. And lastly you can’t have your taxi drop you at the entrance as the there is no road up to the hotel so you have to walk 100 m with your bags to get here. Rooms are clean, staff were friendly enough but I will never stay here again. Not even if it’s offered to me for free.
YydewsCame to the first hotel in Sweden, the first impression is very good! Hotel check-in in the afternoon, not in advance. But the front desk service is good! There are also free fruits, drinks and snacks. The surroundings of the hotel are a bit far from the scenic spots, 2-3km away from the old city, the hotel has a kitchen, and there are supermarkets around, so you can cook your own meals easily!
TTerenceLocation is bit far to center, but the transportation is fairly convenient.
Staff is kind. Good price level for sightseeing the city for a week.
GGuest UserI had a very weird experience at this hotel. On my 2nd day here, a man walked into my room without knocking. I just heard the keypad being typed into and then him walk in. I was in complete SHOCK. He told me that he was advised by the property managers this room was empty and the people staying in it already checked out. I told him I had 2 more nights here, I was completely confused and frankly, a bit scared. I'm a young solo female traveler and while I was clothed and just hanging around on my laptop, what if I was getting dressed or had just gotten out of the shower or something? So appalled. He told me that he was there as he had been asked to fix the chromecast on the tv? (nothing I ever asked for so must have been the last people who stayed there). He told me he can come back and do it later when I'm gone if I want - this man was not dressed in any kind of official clothing, I didn't really want him coming back into my room when I was out with all of my stuff there, so I told him to just fix it now, but I honestly felt so uncomfortable the whole time. I even took photos as proof that this happened cause honestly, I'm still shocked about it all. Anyway he eventually left and didn't come back to my room for the rest of the time I stayed there. The other weird experience I had with this hotel was that they emailed me the day before I was about to arrive trying to tell me I hadn't paid for the room. Firstly, I booked through a booking agency (Wotif) so for them to email me directly to ask for payment is odd to begin with, they went back and forth with me trying to say I hadn't paid, it was only when I contacted Wotif to contact the hotel that they finally stopped asking me for money and provided me with the access codes. Theres' something dodgy about this hotel..... I think it needs to be investigated if Im honest
Location is quiet and is around 33 minutes to Stockholm T-centralen, the best route to get there I found was to take the green line to Gullmarsplan and swap to the 30 tram towards Sickla, then get off the tram at Luma, from there it’s around a 2-3 minute walk to Unity. You do have the option to walk from gullmarsplan which took me around 15-20 minutes The room was a great size and the walk along the sickla canal was amazing in the evening, so If you’re staying I recommend that. Staff were polite and helpful and there’s always someone at the desk if you have an issue. The aerostay app didn’t update and tell me my room was ready but I walked in and spoke to a member of staff who checked me in themselves. There is a Gym on the ground floor open 24/7. Breakfast was okay with a good choice of drinks. Breakfast food included a 1 sweet pastry, 1 Yogurt and granola and 1 sandwich sort of roll. I didn’t find cleanliness to be an issue when I visited just know cleaners won’t clean your room while you’re staying. The only downside to the room was that the bathroom had a tendency to sometimes smell of drains for a few minutes but then would go away like nothing ever happened. It’s worth noting this wasn’t all the time and was on and off during my 3 night stay.
Nnuttybabe29We arrived late and had a pre-booked airport transport. It was easy with the access code to the apartment. We we assigned a wrong type of apartment and I was happy that when I sent an email to customer service, it was resolved very quickly and assigned to the right apartment. We had no trouble looking for our new apartment. The apartment was spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children; 10 & 12 years old. All basics were provided. We make full use of the kitchen equipments to prepare our breakfasts and dinners. The place is very clean and looks very new. The best part is we could do laundry and have clean wear daily! If it’s not too cold for you, 🥶 brrr, you can enjoy the balcony too! We were happy it snowed and went to the balcony! 😝 Excellent location as we walk everyday to everywhere. Took the red busses to explore the city by bus and boat. Visits to museums and places of interests. Kids enjoyed the nearby skating rink. Love the malls, NK and Ahlens. We walked to train station on our departure with 4 luggage in tow at 5am and it was a brisk and safe. It took us about 15mins walk and felt like 7mins. 2 station away to airport! And we saved so much more than private airport transfer that we had when we arrive. I strongly recommend the apartment as overall it was a perfect home for us!
GGuest UserWe went on Easter trip to Stockholm and stayed here at ApartDirect Hammarby Sjöstad. Super cozy, clean hotel apartment with a small kitchen to cook. Decent standard. The hotel is about 4-5 kilometres from central area of stockholm. Beds were comfy, sheets were clean as well.
