I stayed in this apartment for 4 days, it was my first time in Dubai and I was happy with my choice of the place to stay! I had an apartment on the 5th floor with Marina view, it was amazing: from two balconies in two rooms I had a breathtaking view! Everything was very clean, the kitchen is equipped with all you might need: the microwave, teapot, grill, oven, coffee machine, the potable water device - I couldn't wish more! The bathroom has all the necessary things: shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion, hair phone, 4 towels. Ther are two huge tv-sets (but I never used them). Internet works perfectly in any spot of the apartment. There's also board and an iron and a washing machine. The guys on the reception are always available and polite. If I'll ever come to Dubai again I will definitely stay here!

I recently spent 14 nights at the Surat Marriott. While there were notable issues during my stay, I want to highlight both the positives and the negatives.
On the positive side, I have to commend the general manager, Abhisai. He personally came to speak with me on multiple occasions, listened to my concerns, and genuinely tried to offer comfort and solutions. His attentive approach was appreciated. Similarly, the head chef, Prabir, stood out for his exceptional hospitality at the restaurant. Every time I dined there, he offered to prepare fresh food and made sure I had a pleasant dining experience.
However, the downsides were significant. My initial room was right next to the lift and very noisy. Even after moving rooms, the noise issue persisted. In-room dining was also a letdown — every order took a very long time to arrive, which was quite frustrating for a hotel of this caliber.
In short, while certain staff members, including the manager and chef, made efforts to improve my stay, the hotel still needs to work on noise control, in-room dining efficiency, and housekeeping standards to truly meet five-star expectations.

FFarzam I recently stayed at intercontinental residence suit for four nights and overall, it was a delightful experience. The hotel is a bit far from major attractions and public transport, but if you rent a car (which you most probably would) it's not an issue.
The staff at were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient, adding to the hassle-free experience.
The room was clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Amenities such as the flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, and complimentary Wi-Fi were much appreciated. However, the Wi-Fi was rather slow and there were no electrical outlets near the beds, so we had to ask the front desk for an extension cord, which they kindly provided.
One of the highlights was the hotel's on-site restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to different tastes and dietary needs. The dinner menu was equally impressive, with high-quality dishes that showcased the chef's skill.
However, there were a few areas where the hotel could improve.The bathroom was very spacious, but the toilet was very close to the wall. The bathtub had a huge margins which made getting in and out very difficult and dangerous, since there was no handle to hold. The shower also was so close to the wall which considering the huge margin of the tub and the slope of the tub made taking a shower an unpleasant experience.
The hotel's common areas, including the lobby and pool, were well-maintained and inviting. The pool area, in particular, was a great place to relax, though it did get quite crowded at times.
In summary, intercontinental residence suit offers a solid 4-star experience with excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and a convenient location. With a few minor improvements, it has the potential to be outstanding. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to the city.

PPhil_JAbsolutely amazing location with perfect view of Burj Khalifa. The room itself contains a fully fitted kitchen including microwave and dishwasher. It has a direct and easy access to Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain. The room itself though is slightly old and might need a few things refurbished like the carpets look as they have been in there for a long time. All in all the location and view is absolutely brilliant and I would definitely go back there anytime.

GGuest UserStayed over New Year’s Eve. Comfortable sized room and even on the first floor we had a good view of the cityscape including the Burj from a corner of our room. Great location beside the DIFC metro and lots of 24-hour shops along Shiekh Zayed Road. Good soundproofing in the room as we could not hear the traffic at all from the first floor.
